Occasionally I like to interrupt my furniture creating workflow with something whimsical. This Wooden Book is made of Padauk wood. It sits on my library shelf. When people see it they get somewhat confused…”Is that really made of wood?”.

Thanks for looking,
Mazzy

I love it! What did you carve the page details with?

The book was carved on my cnc router. File provided by Aspire software. I can’t get over how much a cnc opens up new vistas in woodworking. I purchased my cnc through www.cncrouterparts.com. It was a do it yourself home built model. Very reasonably prices at less than $3000.00. My cnc can do small artsy type projects all the way up to cutting furniture parts on the 4’ x 8’ bed.
