Well, that is what it looks like…!
sometimes things don’t always come out as envisioned…but that’s what makes it fun.

That’s really cool. Your craftsmanship is as always, impeccable.

well it could also be a large mouth bass with glowing eye’s which means the bottle of booze was on the lake bottom, this could be fun tonight…

Beautiful looking box with its own character feature. Really like the eyes. The alligator bottom is a great touch.

Hey Greg, another beautifully sculpted box. Maybe it is not as you envisioned it to be, but it is still a beautifully sculpted box…perfect…

I did not see the lips until I read the title. Now that’s all I can see!
I do love that wood and you did it proud as usual.

Nice box! I found this fish imitating it!

-- Tom Finnigan - Measures? We don't need no stinking measures! - Hmm, maybe thats why my project pieces don't fit.

Greg, at least there is plenty of variety in your work. If the red is paduk it will change to a brown in a couple of years. Maybe that is something to look forward to. It is great fun. Keep boxing and keep posting.

Monte…Thanks…! How was the final outcome of your show?

Grizzman…been out of the shop on vacation for a couple of weeks and I guess the brain cells got wild from from all the mountain air at 8000 ft.

DoubleDD…the alligator bottoms are one of my most used and favorite liners. I previously used velvet but now only by special order.

Don…definitely some creature influence. I think it looks like a fish I saw at a Seattle Seafood market.

Grizzman…I have The Creature from The Black Lagoon DVD also…in fact I first saw it when it came out when i was little kid…same lips as the box..

Roger…thats my problem..I look into the eyes

Aussie Dave…nothing but fun and surprises…

Andy…I didn’t realize how much the lips stood out until I photographed it and I couldn’t stop laughing…

Tom…wooooh…an idea for another box..

Big Al….gotta have variety or I feel stagnant. Variety is the spice of life and gumbo.

Randy…I guess I need to see the new Riddick movie…maybe they need a box…
