Wedding center pieces

My daughter is getting married in September and she wanted to use pillar candles for her center pieces on each of the tables at the reception. Those are not cheap. So I made 21 sets of 3 pillars of approx 8, 6, and 4 inch pieces in each set. She and other family members made all the paper flowers that go along.
It was all made from scrap wood that a stair and railing company was throwing out in their free “firewood” bin at the back of the factory, as well as some other scrap that I had.
I had some very green poplar that we decided to paint blue so that they would look better. The rest I merely put some finishing wax on them. they have a hole at the top which is the receptical for a tea-light.

Thanks Candy, it was my daughter’s idea, and her flowers just make it work, but thanks anyway.

Brilliant idea! They look gorgeous, very nice combo of the blue with the natural colored ones and the cute paper flowers. Great job for both father and daughter!
