Another Adirondack Chair.....

The wife saw the Adirondack with the pull out foot rest on the cover of Wood magazine. I walked in the door from work and she handed me the magazine, still in the clear plastic sleeve and simply said “Yes, Please”. It looked a little daunting for my skills, but I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of construction. She loves it and I made a few more for around our fire pit and a few for friends. I even made templates for all the pieces out of 1/4” hard board for future chairs. All cedar lumber and stainless steel fasteners with a Spar urethane finish. I love the comfort of these chairs!!

Fantastic fire pit….

And a wonderful space/shop to work in….

Nice build on all the chairs. Great idea having the pull out rest.

If my wife saw this i’m sure she’d be asking me to make some as well! Never seen them with a pull out leg rest. They look very nice!

The coolest and comfiest Adirondack chair ever, love the pull out foot rest. Great work and very nice shop and fire pit.

I’m actually working on building that same chair and I notice you ran into the same exact issues that I have. -) Did you find that plan to be off on multiple things?

Yes, after all the components were cut to dimension, there were a few alterations. Mostly pertaining to the pull out footrest.
