That is a beautiful desk. You wife should love it.

Very, very nicely done! Your wife has to be one happy lady.

Very nice work, nice idea putting some accents on the front roll up.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. This is my own design and it is 33” wide 21” deep and 52” tall (30” to the top of stand).

I bought the Lonnie Bird tambour making router bit set. The tambour slats are 1/2” thick and don’t require canvas or wires, it is made like a round tenon and socket. The minnimun radius is 3”.

I think my wife will use with her laptop computer and a printer on the bottom shelf. The lower drawer has a top that is flash with the drawer top to place the computer and has storage underneath.

Here is a link of the set I bought.

I got mine on ebay new for $150 including shiping.
It is very easy to make if you have a nice router table. (I used the Grizzly model wich is nice and was only $119 as a presidents special.) Good luck

First and foremost, amazing piece of work! I am in the process of building my first desk; I used Cherry and was wondering how you happened to finish your project.
