This is the last piece that I going to post on the RSG project. This is the receptions desk. I just relized that I didn’t get any good picture of this desk. I’ll post what I have.
This desk has a raised panel front with a raised writing surface on one side and a standard desk height on the other. One thing that is not shown is on the right side is a connecting desk that makes an “L”. The extra leg of the desk was attached after installation with dowels and pocket screws.
This piece went in the main entry area with a corner desk, a lateral file, and a bookcase. This whole group was broken down into two phases and this was part of phase one. When I went back to deliver phase two the customer did something neat. They added cork board to the back of the top raised panels. You know how the back side is inset about 3/16”, they cut PSA backed cork board and stuck it back there.
This whole RSG group was overall a good job. I had no snags. It did test my organizational skills and speed. There were about 11 large pieces and a few smaller pieces. I scheduled about 2 weeks to build from start to finish to complete these projects (1 week for each phase). I did have two helpers and outsourced doors and raised panels.
Some of the building pictures I have archived on my we site or visit my “Current Projects” for recent photo and my live video feed.

I mentioned my live video in the write-up. I won’t be there, but it is a good way to keep track of my guys…..if they turn on the cameras!

I have really enjoyed your RSG project. I need to build some storage for my office and it’s given me a lot of good ideas.
