Made this for Jon Morris a long time friend. The dates are; his birth date, his wife’s birth date, the date of the first “date”, the wedding date and the birth dates of their three kids. Found a piece of very light colored cherry that was just right for the project.

great carving. I like how you have carved in the layout lines as part of the letters.

This looks just super! Well done. What did you use to do the carving?

Beautiful work.
Ten times better then I could do.
A treasured heirloom for sure.

I use a CNC router on this and much of the other work I do. I still occasionally work with the traditional tools but i like the precision i get with computer aided woodworking. Thanks for the kind words.

Neat idea and I really like the lettering with the over carve markings. Makes for a GREAT design.

Are the layout lines part of the font or did you add them?
