Hey people,

I made myself a marking knife. I have seen this design on the internet so I ecided to make a knife for my own use.
Overal length is 6,5”, the wood is Ebony that I have bougth in Guinea, Africa during my work as a voluntair there. Very beautifull wood and every time I pick up this knife I will remember my time in Africa ;-).

Very nice build. Did you start with a blank that was purchased or did you do the metal work yourself?

Hello Wayne,

I did al the metal work myself. It was actually a left over piece from an other tool making project. Despite the simple look, it was quite a bit of work to get the things right.

Outstanding tool build! Looks like a tool you’ll really enjoy each time you pick it up to use (heck, for that matter, each time you look at it on your bench).

Great work on making that useful and beautiful tool. Like the shape of the handle, very well crafted and finished.
