Banksia pod lidded goblet

My second turning of a banksia pod. The lid and finial are from the top part of the pod that I actually intended to waste away until I found how woody it was. This was a very fun turning as long as you watch out for seeds!

wow!!! you have done a great job mate. I tried once working with banksia pods and could never get any stisfactory result :(

I used shellac cut 50-50 wiped on
