This was my first attempt at an inside out turning. Made of poplar and dyed with fabric dye

Nice one Ray. you have inspired me to try this. I may be bugging you with questions like how do I keep water in it for the cut flowers—Just kidding!!!!!!!! I do want to study the process and learn what to avoid so I can make a good one too!!

I have a very nice heart cut out one made of cherry with an inside of finial ill post this weekend when I’m done putting a finish on it

It turned out really beautiful. Like the interesting shape and the dye, it’s an art piece. Great job!
