Carved Chalkboard Frame

This was one of my most challenging and satisfying projects to date. The carving on this frame was done entirely using power tools (table saw, band saw, sanding drum, and router). I did a 5-part blog series on building this frame, which can be found here. The wood I used is just cheap pine from a 2×10.

that’s awesome- looking at the first picture I didn’t get an idea of the size, then I saw it on the table saw…
