I’ve been following Paul Sellers and one of his classes was making these sliding lid boxes. These 3 are some of the ones from my latest batch. I make these to keep up to snuff doing dovetails and it’s a good way to use my scraps too. I like these better than a box with a hinged lid.

Great use of scrap, nice boxes

Like them too. Great as gift boxes and storage solutions. Well done!

I have used these as gift boxes at christmas and birthdays. I’ve put gift cards, candy, and presents in them. And whoever gets it also have a nice box to use as they want.
