We had a neighborhood wide garage sale a couple of months ago and I found this shelf sitting out at the curb the next morning.

The big junk collector I am I grabbed it. Thought of a couple things for it but ended up making this simple wall shelf, there wasn’t a good place to keep oil and spices next to the stove and it fills the need.

The shelves are made out of the back of a dresser I found in a dumpster earlier so, minus the glue it’s all repurposed.

I didn’t do a great job with the dados, but it is functional and kind of adds to the recycled look. I did have to disassemble the drawer completely, cut the dados and then reassemble.

No new finish, my wife and I like the way it looks.

Let me know what you think.

Wow…way to take someone elses junk and turning it into a useful project. I have been to salvage wood from time to time so got a soft spot for reclaimed wood projects. Good job Ryan…keep building sir

Nice recycle of the old dresser and giving it new life. Great storage for the kitchen. Thanks for sharing.
