Dovetailed pencil holder I built to store my utensils at the office. I had a bit more trouble than this one than I anticipated. The grain was running the wrong way so I had a few tails and pins break off, I just glued them on, good thing they’re not structural dovetails.

I also didn’t bother to check the whole thing as I went, I just went one dovetail at a time figuring that it would all work out and everything would line up…I fixed that by moving it to the other side and having a set of backwards dovetails.

Nugs, recently did a pencil holder myself…minus the fantastic joinery, contrasting woods and nice finish…it looked a lot like yours….NOT. Nice build.
