Daughter’s first project with me. She calls them “Toast-n-Tea Boards”. This is what she was designing with me the other night. They are about 4 1/2 inches wide and one is 10” long and the other 11 3/4”. All scraps she dug out of my scrap box. Woods used were White oak, Hickory, and Black Walnut. I did all the table saw and jointer work and she did the gluing, sanding and finishing. (Mineral oil and beeswax) She wants to donate them to a benefit auction for a lady we know who has a brain tumor. We will also have plenty more for sale as we are booking a booth at some area holiday Craft shows in Nov. Very proud of her!

That’s sweet. My 6 year-old already has some projects lined up for us to do together soon. A heart shaped cutting board, and apple shaped cutting board, and a key chain. Kids are awesome. Your daughter did a terrific job!

You have done yourself a great favor. Tell her well done.

Sweet projects, like the pretty wood combo and finish. Great to see Dad and daughter spending quality time for a good cause. Way to go!
