Well done, the corner pieces have only been glued, or you used
some type of interlocking?

The Corner pieces are glues “Titebond 3” Plus Drilled 30mm deep & 16mm wide Ash Dowel for jointing. Sanded Shaped & Beeswaxed. Solid BRASS Fittings are from my local D.I.Y Hardware store “B&Q”

Hi questions about how to install a multi angled hand rail….. And calculate the fall and critical angles.
To be very honest I near pulled my hair out trying ! Could have done with advise and a extra pair of hands.
So as a result I guessed and a bit of trial and error .. Not the answer you need .
What I do advise is check at your local hardware store for a range of products & fittings And go check online maybe with google——> Search Staircase handrails ect you may find a simple solution.
Another thing is look at YOUTUBE online videos useing the same search wooden handrails ect There are a good range of video clips with great advise that will put you in the right direction.
This was infact perhaps my first project well before I discovered both Youtube and of coarse Lumberjocks so I went at it a bit blind.. today there are a lot of great products to choose from from pre shaped rails and plenty of fittings and accessories, You should find plenty to inspire you. Sorry I am a bit useless trying to explain how I do things everything seems to be trial & error with me ! maybe one day I will get the time to learn the right way. Many thanks for looking at my projects BAZZA>

So beautiful hand rails. The pine goes well with the brass fittings. I’m sure this will serve you well for a long time. Great work Bazz!

Have your say...
