Project Information
Having seen this project on the site a few times, it was on my "to-make" list and just needed a reason.
Well, some good friends of ours bought their first house and had a house warming party, this was a good fit (and a valid excuse for a little shop-time/time to myself, as that has been really hard to come by with a 4 week old at home…)
I had some walnut cut-offs from another project and a few pieces of pine with an angled grain that I could use. I then laminated them together, planed it all flat and rounded over the bottle hole in the middle.
I finished it with BLO and some Paste Wax.
Easy, quick project that was extremely well received.
