Just purchased a new Dewalt compound sliding mitre saw, after retiring my 25 year old Craftsman saw that I will pass on to one of my kids. Viewed a lot of your projects so I decided to try to make my own mitre saw bench. It is definitely not perfect, but I have used it a few times and it seems to work fine for my unprofessional projects. Looking forward to using in on many new projects, like making some new cutting boards in the next week or so.

I go the stainless steel table for free from my son, who had a friend of his who was closing a small restaurant.

Looks like a winner… Glad the shop is coming together for you and I liked the method you used for clamp storage, thanks for sharing… Look at that… 500th post :)

Thanks for looking, nothing spectacular but I am a simple person and it works. Hopefully more posts coming this week.

what great idea in mounting this way! Now you don’t have to hold the board against the fence! (LMAO, just kidding, great looking saw and stand combo)
