My niece is into the American girl dolls and we were looking at things to get her for her birthday. I came across the website and saw what they wanted for their cabinets and decided to make one that I thought would be better and personalized. After a little drawing work this is what I came up with. This was my first attempt at it and learned a few things, but I think that she was happy with it. It’s made of solid red cedar with the outside poly’d to try to keep the beautiful red and the I side natural to protect the clothes.

Lcoop71, welcome to LJs,
Very nice cabinet, well crafted, looks great. I’m sure it’s very much appreciated by your niece and will be treasured for a long time. Keep up the good work.

It’s very nice and she seems to be pleased.

That looks very nice Lcoop71! Great job! You might like to make a few of those, or something very similar to try to sell! There might be some money to make, and be able to add a few things to Your shop!

Beautiful and well crafted doll cabinet! The cedar is gorgeous and like the finish. It will be an heirloom piece for sure.
