coopered lid blanket chest

This was my first attempt at a coopered lid. It took some trial and error with scrap, but I am happy with the result. It was made from wormy soft maple.

That looks great!
I have a blanket chest still in my head and a few glued up pieces of cherry wood so you are way ahead of me! Hopefully I will have some time comming up so I can dedicate some more time to it.

I made a jig to clamp the coopered glue-up into. If I have time to take a picture of it I will post it.
