I made this Lamp for my Dad for his birthday. For my wedding he restored my 1971 Dodge Dart, So since I cannot afford to get or build him a car I figured I would make this lamp with the Original Timing Gear from the dart. Now I just need to figure out how to make a lampshade with the old Aircleaner Cover. This was made with Big Box 1X10 White Wood.

I like the idea behind the project. This gave me an excellent view on how to incorporate both worlds together.

I’d say you’ve got it all geared up.

Nice use of what would otherwise be called junk (no, I meant the gears and chain, not the Big Box White Wood…)

Be Careful!
