This is what I think a router table called the “Prostand” should look like to be worthy of a name like that.
Milwaukee 3-1/2 horse router
Benchdog Cast Iron Top
Benchdog Prostand
Woodpeckers Lift
Woodpeckers Coping Jig
Edgebanded Melamine Cabinet
Custom Router Bit Holders

Can’t decide whether or not to add casters. It is so solid right now. Doesn’t budge even the slightest when working on it. Btw anybody that is considering a router go with the milwaukee. It is unbelievably quiet!

Looks great! The only thing I’d add is a Wixey Remote Router Readout (c.f., http://www.wixey.com/remote/index.html )—just a thought.

Yea I’m just not sold on it yet. I can see how it would be nice for repeatable set ups like raised panel doors etc. I will buy one for the planer first. Right now just using calipers. Are you using one? Is it staying locked in with all the vibration?

Put one on my planer and absolutely love it—like a whole new tool and tremendous accuracy. My router table is on my TS extension and I haven’t been able to figure a way to mount it and mount the indicator, but I’d love to have one for making minute adjustments and knowing exactly how much I’d adjusted with out set, guess, cut and adjust all over again and again until I get it where I want it. I’m beginning to think I need to build a separate, dedicated router table—just not sure where I can put it as I’m running out of space.
