After spending 14 years in the USMC (1997-2011), I figured it was time to put all those challenge coins I’d collected up for display. The display is made of Alder and secured with pocket whole joinery (I wanted to test my new Kreg Jig I had got for Xmas). It is finished with a dark walnut stain with three coats of poly. Additionally, I used some drilled holes in the front to inlay or showcase my favorite coins. All in all I think it turned out nice enough.

Nice display. I only have 1 challenge coin, given to me by my unit my last day in Nam.
Nice Job.
Thanks for your service!!
