Jewelry Box

Project by PineMan posted 487 days ago 296 views 2 times favorited 12 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is the first thing I had at hand to post as a project.

I made this about 10 years ago and stained it way too dark as you can probably tell.

I flocked the inside and the sides were made from some modified crown molding.

-- I never started a project I couldn't screw up.

That’s a nice box. It still looks good after all the years.

-- so much wood, so little time. Bradford.

Beautiful box. I think the dark color is very rich looking.

I also like the dark coloring, and the shape is very nice.

Looks nice. Very mellow. Great craftsmanship. Did you use stock molding or make it all yourself?

I really like that color a lot …Is that a hint of inlay that I think I see in the lid in picture #1 ?

very nice box, but I don’t think it is too dark. Looks great as is.

Ten year ago! Someone really loves this and expected to pass it on. I do love a natural finish but your’s does look rich. My finishs on my project depends on the wood used.
Some I have to paint because I have to hide tooo many mistakes. I have a new rule to measure three time and cut two times.

Very nice Pineman. I think that the color is fine. You do need to post some more project though. 173 days since this one.
