I have always enjoyed the wine bottle holders I have seen on the site. I finally made my first one last week and it is such a fun and easy project I almost felt guilty making them. So I decided to beef up the design a little and engraved the Marine Corps logo on it and added a couple of strips of walnut down the sides. I’m pleased with it.

Very nicely done with a great carving!

Great carving. I like the wood contrast.

Can you tell me what the angle is on that bottom cut? Looks like it might be 45ยบ but I just wanted to be sure.

Thanks!

Good looking bottle holder! Like the wood combo and the carving makes a great accent. Well done!

The carving really sets it off, and you can’t beat the Eagle Globe and Anchor.
