Well this is my third turning project, semi natural/live edge, of what me and my mom think to possibly be sycamore.
I cut the blank for this from a partially mangled crotch wood. The picture of it being held to the sky is my wife trying to show that its thin enough for light to pass through, and 2 pics of it half way through the process to show why the edge dips down the way it does.
Thanks for looking, comments and suggestions for future projects greatly appreciated.

Now that is an interesting piece, love the grain and structure. Natural edges are my favourite.
