Small cherry rocking chair with ebony plugs and small walnut accents in the rockers.

Rough lumber to finished chair – 3 weeks.

Inspirations come from Sam Maloof, Hal Taylor, & Scott Morrison.

great looking rocker. I’ve got some cherry in my shed ear marked for my second Maloof style rocker that I hope to get to later this year. I don’t think I’ll get it finished in three weeks though.

My wife says….. if I ever win the lottery you will not have to look for work anywhere else but the Honeycutt Household personal furnishings project :)

Seriously, that chair is simply beautiful, and I know it is comfortable, look at those lines!!!! I imagine it cups your butt like granny’s hand holding a newborns bottom. Spectacular does not do this piece justice…
