Since my wife in an artist it was a natual project to try to build her a carrying box for her pastels. I also gave a couple away to her artist friends and still have a few leftover.

The last picture reflects a quiet evening at the end of the day after the shop has bee swept out and the tools replaced. So many worthy moments in woodworking.

Nice looking boxes. Have you ever done any joint projects with your wife? Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tim;

Nicely done boxes. Your shop looks good!

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one who enjoys cleaning up the shop.

I thought there was something wrong with me. (Well actually a lot of people think that, but for different reasons).

I have no problem with spending hours just cleaning up and reorganizing things.

I find it relaxing, just being in the shop.

Great cases, Tim.

I agree with Lee. Cleaning and straightening up the shop is relaxing. And stepping back and looking around at a clean, well-organized shop just feels good.

Five or six. I also made a similar box about half as big but haven’t cut the lid as I have not figured out what I want to do with it. :)

Nice cases. I like ‘em.

Wow, clean shop. What a treat.

I also noticed a Norm inspired assembly table, a tool room, and a fridge. Got’a get me a fridge.

Yeah the table was a New Yankee project. I’ve since found a better design.

The tool room you see in the background is actually my wife’s studio. We added a 24×24 garage on to the front of our old garage. She took the old garage as an art studio and I share the front garage with a refer, pantry, other storage, and a car.
