I made these awhile back. I always try to have a project in process and these fit the bill. Whenever I’m between steps or have limited time I can always work on one of these. And now that I’ve got my resaw skills honed I can’t wait to tear into some real nice figured wood.

Teak, Ebony, and Maple... My first attempt

Hi Tim;

These are great looking trays.

Since your wife is an artist, you can have her draw designs for you to make marquetry panels.

This is great fun, and very satisfying. Not to mention the incredible projects you’ll be able to create.

I watched this being made on TV and I know its not easy to make it look as good as you have. Your workmenship is outstanding. I know this is not easy to do and you make it look easy. Keep up the great work. I also like the different woods.
