Alright. This was a night stand (Mission Style) I drew up and started WAY to fast. Didn’t take the time to plan it all out right, especially not having done this kind of thing before or following any references.
However, All was not lost. You can hide a lot of mistakes with paint (And a little wood filler).
Specs:
Wood – CHEAP knotty pine from home depot
Time Taken: 1 afternoon to build, 2 days to fill, prime and paint.
Tools used: Drill, Miter Saw (Just bought a router and a jigsaw, can’t wait to try them out)
Finishing: 1 coat primer grey, 1 coat Calvin Klein chocolate brown, 1 coat of minwax polyurethane, turtle wax on top (I was told that was as good as furniture wax…still not sure about that)...but it looks decent.
Sorry for the sideways pictures. I wasn’t aware they all needed to be taken Landscape format.
Any ideas or helpful criticism well appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi David;
The work is a little on the rough side, until you consider where you’re working.
I think getting into that garage is a good idea! It does make a big difference.
And patience will help considerably. As will practice.
All in all, your doing fine.
Lee
