This is a very simple project I made as a gift a long time ago. They are made from eastern white cedar and stained a multitude of coloures and finishes. They go as a set of 3 and look pretty good on a mantel or dresser.

Is there potential for the wood to catch on fire once the candle gets low? Wouldn’t want to give as a gift that keeps on giving.
