iPad and iPhone holders from pallet material

I made some iPad and iPhone holders from some 1×6 pallet boards. Glued them into a block, cut a 15 degree dado and then free handed the shape on a table top band saw. I got the idea from an iPad holder from a Japanese guy who called his “The Pebble”. very nice made of ash and stuff, but mine holds an iPad and costs a bundle less!

Still loving the Arm-R-Seal from Rockler. The satin finish rubbed out feels butter smooth, these things are like big worry stones. I put some grip pads on the bottom similar to the material on bench cookies and they make a nice foot to hold them down where you put them while you’re using the iPad.

They look very cool, like that you rounded the corners irregularly to resemble as pebbles.
