After my wife saw a similar bookcase in a magazine I was “commissioned” to build one for our bonus room. Lucky for me I found a metal shop around the corner from my house that has large hardwood pallets. After a quick chat with the foreman he gave me access to all I would want. Slats were ripped to approximately 2 1/4” and planned down to 3/8”. Not a real challenging project, just a bunch of creates screwed together. Wife was happy with the end result and getting the lumber for free made me happy, so we will call it a win.

I like it. Great use of free wood.

Nice to be finished I bet. Good work keeping pieces organized and patience to assemble. Good job.

Happy wife, happy life.

Like it, a really cool and good looking style of book case. Love to see it installed and with lots of stuff. Great job!
