butterflied peacock bass

This is a butterflied peacock bass, that was caught in Florida last year it is 27 inches it was released, I was asked to make a replica ,made out of poplar wood,it was a fun carving.

I am blown away by the talent of the people on Lumberjocks. Your version of this bass is amazing. Very well done! I am sure you had a happy customer. May I ask what you would charge for a piece like tis? And… what was the primer coat? Just paint?

Very nice! The fisherman knew the right guy to have carve this beauty! I’m sure your customer was thrilled with the carving.

Jerry,The primer I use is Krylon sandal ,and I normally don’t sell them, it’s only a hobby,so I don’t have a fixed price, thanks the great comment.
