Recently asked to make several attendance award plaques for Global Jamboree… for those who are unfamiliar with this… they organise adventure weekends and sometimes longer for Jeep owners… the one a few weeks ago was on the world’s largest sand island… Fraser Island … off the coast of sunny Queenlsand…
The first pic is of the logo I engraved on the signs…
Second pic is the actual logo from their website…
Fifth pic is a line up of some of the Jeeps…
Last pic shows both my logo and phone number, and the small dowel in a hole for standing the sign on a shelf…
Timber is Scented Maple finished with spray poly and hand rubbed wax.
Size is my standard 450 mm by 125 mm… 22 mm thick…

Larry, I have been a Jeep owner all my life and always wanted to go to a Jeep Jamboree, but something always came up. The Signs are very nice and are fitting for the event. Did you go to Fraser Island?

I used to plow snow with an old jeep my Father-in-Law owned. Not sure, and don’t remember what year it was, but it was fun to drive with those vacuum wiper blades… OH, nice signs Larry.. sorry, you gave me a blast from the past

Looking fair dinkum, mate. Keep getting the hang of the leading edge tech and sharing it with we poor mortals from Olympus on high.
