This is one of those projects that seems to linger and stay on the “to do list”. Been wanting to make something like this ever since I started sanding as far as I can remember, but somehow always didn’t have the time when I had the materials, or didn’t have the materials when I did have the time.

Finally decided to FIND the materials when I was able to get some shop time go cross this one off the list. Originally I planned to make this out of plywood, but recent projects (Kitchen FE Drawers, and Airsoft Cabinet) completely depleted all existing and remaining plywood remnants. While looking around, I noticed a single an 8’ 4/4 cherry board that had some cracks in it. the width was perfect (on the money!) after I would joint its edges, and the length gave me a few inches extra which was good. seeing that it had some cracks in it, I figured I wouldn’t use it for anything presentable, and shop furniture would be a perfect fit!

4 hours later, and this is the result. I was able to accomplish the design in my head which would be a wall mounted slim sandpaper organizer for sheets and ROS packs.

Dimensions: 20” x 14” x 6 1/2”
Finish: BLO

Thanks for looking,
Peace!

careful Charlie – last time you met up with “sandy” a lot of people had to be “handy” for quite a while AFAIR.

Nice build—I particularly like the slant shelves for the full size sheets, reducing the required depth of your cabinet.

Been on my list as well for a while. Like you said, when I have the shop time, I lack the materials, and when I have the materials, there’s something else on the list!

This is a nice functional shop accessory and a good use for this lumber.

This is one of those projects that you will be happy for until your teeths fall out.
Love it, nothing like order in the shop.
