The ’’Viking’’ another in a series of fan plans i have developed. The “Viking ’’ I call it because of the vintage 58 chevy pickup truck emblem from the fender wheels i took it off . One emblem was broken off so i cut the Viking from it and install it on the front fan cage. I then found a vintage airplane propeller and used it on the top wing. I then got the same wood as the old propeller douglass fir and made the bottom wing like the top ebonizing it with a butane burner. I then hammered the copper to match. I then welded the fuselage and installed the Chey 60 on the side . For the crown and glory I got an airplane hood ornament from an old Impala and installed it on top for a cool fan that runs and oscillates. The propeller is six feet long and when it oscillates it swings three feet from side to side . All this and Heaven too.

I will not even ask you what your source is for these wonderful fans, but you are outdoing them with your
imaginative and artistic use of vintage material to make these wonderful fan airplanes. Thank you once again
for sharing your flights of fancy with us.
