TartanSailor posted a bench like this a couple of months ago and I stored the picture (#5) in my favorites as I do with other things that I may want to try someday. I just couldn’t stop thinking about it though and just had to make one so I could get on with my life! Solid local black Walnut and an attempt at french polish with linseed oil, shellac and paste wax. Thanks TartanSailor for your post!
it’s not an exact copy but I did work off his photos. 5 degrees splay on the legs.
