“My Eye’s Adore You” a song from Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons come to mind on this LumberJock favorite The Nantucket Bench, which I’ve seen plenty of times being made on the site . Constructed from Birds Eye Maple and Curly Black Cherry also stain with General Dye stains, top Ebony and bottom half Med. Brown and Cinnamon dyes giving the lower half a toasted age look. The Bird Eye Maple came from a recent purchase from fellow jock Barlow of the U.P. of Michigan, heavy eye figuring throughout the top just kept this old ballet ring in my ears. Hope it rings the same tune…thanks for viewing…Blkcherry

I can just hear Frankie’s voice singing this tune. Well, I adore this piece Wilson. It has a classic stance and the “through tenons” look great. The finish gives it instant “age”.

I really like it! The balance in the design is really pleasing to the eye (thus the song in your head). The toasted/aged look to the finish is also very beautiful.

What kind of film finish did you use?
