I was asked to make a serving tray for the daughter of my BFF so I designed and made this one. Had a bit of fun calculating the compound angle for the miters and then found a website that does it for you in an instant. It’s made from some cherry wood with a polyurethane finish. It started out as 4/4 rough cut planks which were resawn and planed to 5/16 thick.

Can you list the calculating website?

The website I prefer to use for the compound miter cuts is and another one is but it is a little more difficult for me to understand. Hope this works for you fellow Lumberjocks.
