Ok, so this is my first project that I’m uploading, and only my 3rd total. It’s made from a black walnut tree that fell during a storm last summer. I got the idea to use LPs in a coffee table from a project that I saw here: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/53513
So I made one similar to that (to be posted) and realized that if I made more of them, I would have nothing but LP covers sitting around, so I decided to make one with just the cover art instead. And I love it!
The tables are pretty basic in design, but are counter sunk into the table with kleer kote epoxy for bartops sealing them in to make it all level. Then I was able to get some laser cut, double pane glass from my brother-in-law that works at a window factory for the tops.
How many of these LPs can you identify?
