I was given a rough sketch as a guide, made this for a friend during the fall of 2012. He gave me 100 bd ft of ash he had cut from logs on his property, 5 years sitting in his garage. I kept the wood in my shop for 6 months before using it. Not the greatest lumber, lots of knots, splits etc. I used 3/4” oak from Home Depot for the boxes. Made up crown on an old 12” Foley molder-planer.
