This is first piece of furniture I’ve made to date. Used pine to keep the cost down. The table is 38” tall 18” deep and 59” wide. Used a red oak stain, then 3 coats of lacquer with wet sanding between the first 2. Used 600 grit sand paper. On final coat I sanded with a 2000grit paper. Once all sealed I used square nails as detail. Non skid pads on the feet of the table. The top was all butt joints, the frame was all mortise/tenon.

Thanks for checkin it out

Mike.

Great looking table.Well done.Sofa table is an elegant piece of furniture. This great piece of furniture does not take up much room and gives you a place to add decor. The only problem is making sure you pick a piece that matches up to the rest of the look that you have already created in the room.

It came out really beautiful. Like the joints and the stain. Nice touches on the square nails. Great job!
