A few old projects

Just a few old pictures of things I built. The first is a maple and oak chest with cedar lining. I made the mistake of oversizing this piece – it is 4 feet long, 2 feet deep, and 30 inches tall. It now resides in our attic guest room and has beed redesigned to be of more use.
The second cabinet has oak trim and the cabinet was stained cherry.
The last picture is of our old house. We redid the kitchen and I built the cabinets. I wanted them to be deep, but I didn’t want to waste the storage space, so i built roll out shelves. We tiled the top to match the floor and used oak trim to trim it out.

Oversized is right…four feet long! That is one huge chest. Everyting looks nice though.

The chest was massive! My wife and I could sit in there and still have room left over! It was even more interesting carrying it up the stairs from the basement!

Thanks for the comment!

They all look great and well crafted. Like most the cabinets and drawers. Great work!

Have your say...
