My bother and I just finished making four adirondack chairs. Two for him and two for me.

Plans: VeritasĀ® “Adirondack Plus” Chair & Footstool Plan, ordered from Lee Valley.
Wood: Cypress, Northwest Lumber, Indianapolis, IN
Screws: Self-Drilling Wood Screws, Stainless Steel, Flat Head, Square Drive, ordered from McFEELY’S.
Finish: Penofin Penetrating Oil Finish

Nice work.

The Cypress looks very nice and I like the design too.

With the footrest and a pillow, you can have a nice nap in one of those.

Nice chairs, I like the natural wood look over painting. Enjoy!

From one military man to another—- hoooorah! I just took a look at those pics. It’s obvious you’re a highly skilled craftsman. Those chairs are just beautiful… I’d love to build a couple of those for my wife.
