That is ridiculously nice. The integration of the steps into that burled stump looks great. I wish you were shipping it to me, though it may not be too useful in my one story house :) .

Wonderful use of wood and imagination, glad you got everything sorted to make this project. Almost makes me want to build a new house so I could copy it. Thank you for sharing.

Amazing Work Johan… I can’t fathom the figuring it would take to make the railing alone, let alone stair placement on a non-cylindrical center!Fantastic!

Thankyou for all the good comments it always help to be more creative.mikewhite;it is estimated at about 2.5 tons;we are taking it apart and moving it up country to be installed.
