my first big project, i made it from resaw wood, and it is the standard size, i dont have a pattern, i had an old warped swing and i just copied the measurements, then gave old one away,

Great idea, recreating a chair allows something that worked once to come back, with work but without the fuss of hoping some new design will be comfortable as the original one.

Very nice Paula…looks like a great place to sit and read the Sunday paper…now you need a small table next to the swing for a coffee cup…:) well done

Thanks ya all, I couldn’t find a pattern I wanted, so I just copied the old one, I have a gator table in front of it, my son and I wait for bus in it every morning we can when school in session, or I watch him play in the dirt while I swing and play on my iPad;) I would like to think I have a little skill making things, or I wasted a lot of money on tools and time on how to videos. Lol
