This is the newest addition to the house. It’s a mahogany occasional with maple drawer sides and a pine back. The table has a breadboard top and some grooves on the side panel. The legs are tapered and the stretchers are set back 1/8”. The table has a hand rubbed burnt umber glaze finish with 5 thin coats of lacquer. This was a quick and fun project.

Very nice little cupboard/table. Nice breadboard ends on the top and dovetailing on the drawer. I have yet to try those kind of hinges (knife or scissor hinges?) I have heard they can be difficult to instal. Nice job, looks amazing.

Great project, a really beautiful piece!

Quick huh? I may have to give it a go, I need a couple of these.

Great work on that beautiful and neat table. It has beautiful design, great joinery and very nice finish.
