The Whatever Bowl

Project by brianinpa posted 492 days ago 265 views 0 times favorited 10 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I recently made a candy dish to sit on my desk at work. My wife tried to redirect it to her desk at work, but I prevailed. During our discussion of who should have it she claimed that she wanted it to put whatever she wanted into it. So I used some of the same wood and made her the “Whatever Bowl.” Spalted Japanese Maple with the dimensions of 2½” by 8”. Now she has a bowl for her desk also.

That is some really pretty stuff. I can think of many things that can go into that bowl.

Nice bowl and Nice finish.

How do you hold the bowl to turn the outside bottom?

That’s a pretty bowl. I can see why the “argument” arose.

Spalted Maple is awesome and you did a fine job presenting it with this bowl : )
