Hey Guys and Gals. Finally finished this piece for my daughter and her newly anointed finance. He surprised her with the proposal last week during a romantic trip to the beautiful Traverse City, MI area. Of course she said, “Yes” and it is all on video. Daughter and Mom are both on on “Cloud Nine”. This along with my son’s upcoming nuptials this is going to get hectic so time to clear some of my ongoing projects.

Of course the thumbnail isn’t it. That is the wonderful particle board piece that was replaced by one that will be a little bit sturdier, I hope. They have tons of record albums to go in the cabinet. Old School like the Ol’ Man! Made from oak ply and solid oak trim from the big box store. A little bit of router work. Finished with GF Java Gel Stain and GF Arm-r-Seal. Loved the Arm-R-Seal so much I recommend to my contractor/ golfin’ friend. It would have to save him tons of time with very good results. It is all dadoed together and glued. Also had a chance to use my Kreg Shelf Pin Jig. It worked very well for me. Been working on this for months. I had a basement remodel in the middle of everything. Glad it is done and I thought it turned out well. Thanks for Lookin’

Cheers,
Jack

It looks good and well made. Like the design and finish. I’m sure it will last long. Great job!
